Member Agencies
There are many transportation and service agencies represented on the Pierce County Coordinated Transportation Coalition (PCCTC). For the full list of participants see the Steering Committee page.The PCCTC develops the county "Coordinated Transportation Plan." This plan guides the decisions about the transit services that are developed to meet the transportation needs identified through the community assessment. Several of the PCCTC member agencies apply for federal and state grants funding to support innovative transportation services for Pierce County.

Volunteer Coordinator - this program utilizes volunteers to provide rides for seniors Bus Buddy - volunteers teach people how to ride the bus Travel Ambassador Program - community members receive training about transportation options available in Pierce County

Beyond the Borders - free rides in rural Pierce County, especially to bus stops. Mobility Coordinator - staff person who works on Coordinated Transportation

Road to Independence (Employment Transportation) - offers rides to work in rural area Road to Independence Driver Training - driver training for Workfirst participants

211 Transportation Hotline - provides information about transportation resources

|
Pierce Transit provides fixed route bus service, ADA services through the "SHUTTLE" and other services such as vanpools and trip planning.
